The third quarter of the year lead the PIRB to the north of South Africa, the Limpopo province. The province well known for its fresh fruits and vegetables was our fourth destination for the national Roadshow. From Thohoyandou to Polokwane, the plumbers were ready to meet us, and we received a warm welcome. From registered and unregistered plumbers to aspiring entrepreneurs, the province is rich with inspirational and passionate plumbers. Passion is not lacking in the North, and it is transferrable. They ignited our passion for what we do, we exchanged that by sharing opportunities.
The first stop at Build It, Thohoyandou was an exciting day, bringing pleased and long-term registered plumbers. The praises went to the evolution of the PIRB, the growth of the industry, and the zeal to impart knowledge to the upcoming generation by becoming auditors.]
While there is an abundance of registered plumbers, there is a lack of auditors in Limpopo. This is the gap that most plumbers are looking to fill. This was true at our second stop in BUCO, Polokwane. Both male and female plumbers came in numbers showing their dedication to uplifting the industry. The mission is clear and the dedication is unmistakable. The future of Limpopo’s plumbing is in good hands!
Our journey continues next month, and we will be in Eastern Cape. Our first stop will be in Build It Kowie, Port Alfred on the 16th of August. The following day, 17 August we will be meeting plumbers at On Tap, Gqeberha.
See you on the road!
