On 19 April, the PIRB visited Kimberly, the capital city of Northern Cape. Buco Kimberly Fabricia hosted us and gave us a platform to engage with the plumbers in the area. Representation and growth are of utmost importance to the PIRB, and the PIRB continues to ensure that the Northern Cape is well represented when it comes to the professionalisation of the plumbing industry. The mandate remains to encourage the plumbers to become qualified and registered with the PIRB. This was met with great enthusiasm and excitement as more and more individuals are getting qualified and registered. There is plenty of work still to be done in the province, but there is sustainable growth as the years go by.
On the 20th April, the PIRB took the plumbing industry road show to Mangaung. In Bloemfontein, Berlesell Plumbing suppliers played host to the PIRB and multiple merchants representing the plumbing industry at their premises in Bloemfontein. Cobra Assist, Electrolux, Ariston, Cachet, Advanced Valves, Meissen and Kwikot participated in the Bloemfontein leg of the plumbing industry road show. Plumbers showed up in their numbers and it was a huge success. The PIRB would like to show recognition to Berlesell for their continued support and putting together a special day for the plumbers. It is because of partnerships like these we continue to move the industry forward. We look forward to doing this again next year!
