CPD SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:

SUBMITTING YOUR CPD ACTIVITIES CAN BE DONE IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

  1. Online CPD Submission

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • As a registered plumber, it is your duty to ensure that you keep track of your Continuous Professional Development points and submissions.
  • Keep records and all evidence of your activities in case they are needed by the PIRB for your 12- month cycle. All evidence must be kept for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Your cycle is the 12 months upon registration or renewal date. Your points need to be built up during your annual cycle in order for you to maintain your Licensed Plumber status.
  • Failure to accumulate Continuous Professional Development points per cycle will result in a recategorization on your profile and you may therefore not be allowed to issue COC’S.
  • An individual may carry over 33% of the points they achieve above the minimum 25 points a year. The maximum they may carry over is 5 points which equate to 15.5 points additional to the 25 points they have already achieved.
  • Plumbers are urged to accumulate CPD points on a monthly basis to avoid the rush of trying to accumulate points before renewal dates.
  • Continuous Professional Development Points should be accumulated across all three Continuous Professional Development Streams.

The PIRB reserves the right to update and/or amend the Continuous Professional Development Activities, Credit allocation or Terms and Conditions from time to time and without any notice, and you are accordingly encouraged to check the website regularly.

Any such change will only apply to your use of this website after the change is displayed on this website.

If you use this website after such updated or amended Terms and Conditions have been displayed on this website, you will be deemed to have accepted such updates or amendments.

For any complaints, email cpdadmin@pirb.co.za.
