World Plumbing Day

World Plumbing Day (WPD) is on the 11^th of March. The PIRB will celebrate this day, by hosting an annual WPD event at the PIRB offices on the 10^th of March 2023, which will also serve as the kick off to the annual Plumbing Industry 2023 Roadshow. The PIRB’s Roadshow is aimed at connecting and engaging with plumbers throughout South Africa, in an effort to professionalise plumbing.

World Plumbing Day is a day marked on the calendar of the entire plumbing community since the World Plumbing Council established it in 2010. There are also various events and festivities that take place all over the world to celebrate this day.

The PIRB’s celebration will take place at 164 Ruimte Road in Centurion from 10h00 to 14h00, where various merchants will be exhibiting and speaking about their organisations and engaging with plumbing professionals. The day will also see numerous games being played and prizes given to lucky attendees who will be participating.
